This scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior based on the following criteria:

• Volunteerism through tennis (the selection committee places special emphasis on an applicant’s volunteerism through tennis) 

• Sportsmanship, citizenship, and character

• Personal achievements

• Community and school involvement

USTA Arkansas College Scholarship Application

The Southern Tennis Foundation (STF) will award ten $1,000 scholarships for incoming college freshmen in 2025. Stay dedicated, and this scholarship will accompany you throughout your four-year collegiate journey.

STF Scholarship Criteria and Application

Application Deadline: Usually opens January 1 and closes March 31

The USTA Foundation focuses on serving under-resourced youth. The USTA Foundation awards scholarships to high school seniors who:

• Demonstrate academic achievement (3.0 minimum GPA)

• Perform community/volunteer service

• Participate in organized youth tennis programs such as National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL)

• Demonstrate significant financial need (verified during two stage process; utilizing Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) information)
